Well I went down the hill today to get gas, a movie, and some groceries. Didnt go quite so smooth....went to turn ....no turn....with out greabbing hand over hand an tugging with all my strength and watching the coolant jump to oh ShT

The fan/power steering belt popped off:banghead

so a quick hot ride to sears and 70 dollars later got me back up the hill(14% grade)

no more holding out ...tomorrow ill be getting a electric fan setup....might have pics who knows ?

Your belt was bad, and your gonna prevent that by adding an electric fan? Seams like proper periodic inspection of your rig would have prevented the belt incodent.

With the loss of the belt the water pump wasn't running either, so it would
have overheated even with an electric fan.

V-belt also. The routing goes main pulley -> pump/clutch fan -> P/S -> main pulley. One v-belt services both.
