I have a 1995 Eddie Bauer edition. It has a 6 inch suspension and a 3 inch body lift. It has the quad shocks in the front. When shopping for shock absorbers, the most I am seeing is Ford Bronco with 4 inch lift. Can anyone point me to where I need to look to find some longer shocks? I tried Rancho. Also, do I need 6 inch lift or 9 inch lift shocks?

I found some Skyjacker and some ProComp that have 6" and longer lifts. Are those quality shocks?

the 3 inch body lift has nothing to do with required shock length.

you need a shock designed for a 6 inch lift.

the skyjacker nitros are good shocks, you only need for 6" lift

well just look through summit's shock section the make 9" lift shocks with little to no modification their for like f150 but I really dont see much difference and they carry nitro and non nitro but ive always just stayed with nitro my bronco II had 4 inch suspension with nitros and they handle good

A 6" SUSPENSION lift is what he needs shocks for.


The 3" BODY lift has no bearing on the shock length.
