So crawled under my bronco to do a general inspection and noticed a couple things I hadn't before...

Guess I got air shocks, I have to remove these when I do my 4" suspension lift right?

Also...

Was thinking "Broncos don't have rear airbag sensors, what's this?" So I plugged it in bc it was unplugged.. Then wondered where the the UPS truck was when I was leaving my apartment.. To find out it was me beeping. Guess it was installed with the tow package by PO. Cool I guess. My dads old 80 International Scout II turbo diesel had a beeper.

And your question is do you have to change shocks when you install a 4" lift?
Do a little searching and you'll find you answer as well as the answer to a lot of lift questions.

Those are airbag load helpers. When your towing something heavy you add air to them to prevent sagging. You will not be able to use them with lift leafs unless you add a 4" bracket to the bag.
Right on, thanks. Don't really have plans on hauling anything crazy, so far only a pop up.

Oh and I disconnected the reverse beeper already... Kinda got to me too.
