i check the search and nothing was close. so, here's my problem. i got an 88 eddie with 136,000 miles. i can drive all day with no problems. i start going up this hill by the house it'll hestate/jerk about three times(rpm's stay the same), then it'll take off and run fine. the wife said it happened to her when she was racing an import up the on ramp.
i ran through it with basic checks of the ignition system and found two possibles. one i have an accel super coil and there was moisture in the coil wire kinda oily. next was the number 7 wire has been melted a little from the header.
any suggestions out there. thanks

new wires and a tune up would be a good idea, might replace the coil to . good luck

I'd do like he said, and if the problem persists, check for vacuum leaks.

I'm with jerry, I used to be a part and sensor replacer until I learned about the whole vacuum thing and how it can really adversely affect your rigs performace. Always check the vacuum, its one of the easiest and cheapest things to do.
