Since purchasing the truck in July 08 I've been slowly repairing and replacing the worn out and broken parts. The previous owner didnt do much other than the required maintiance so there has been a lot of work. I dont have much free time so most of the work has been done by the professionals. That being said, I dont have a lot of the "in progress" pictures but I will be posting more as I complete the work. Enjoy!








old and new charcoal canister













Already completed:
Pulled engine to replace oilpan, rear main seal, and valve cover.
Rebuilt transfer case and installed warn manual hubs
New springs, hangers, and Bilstein Shocks
Moog ball joints, pitman arm, center link, tie rods
Redhead stearing box
New smog pump
New 4 core radiator
Transmission flush and new gasket
Cut out rear quarter panel rust and installed patch panels
New cab corners
Refurbished spare tire carrier
New charcoal canister
New EGR tube
New plugs, wires, and distrubutor cap
Installed passanger side dash repair kit
New radius arm bushings
Remote starter/keyless entry
32X11.50 BFG All Terrian K/O's

Im sure Im missing some things in there but for the future I have planed to repair the tailgate window mounting brackets, install a 200 amp alt, full exhaust, new front bumper (I've always liked the 96' style with the holes), new body mounts, etc....

what size patch panels did you use for the rear quarters?

Looking good I like it a lot since mines same color and year and just went thru a minor restore on mine. Lol just wait and the bronc bug is gonna bit ur arse and you decide to upgrade things since its broke or breaking.
