finally bought about 100sq ft of EDead and 1gal of liquid edead to try out from http://edesignaudio.com/category.php?type=damp

I started ripping the interior out last night, everything is nasty so there is going to be alot of clean up prep work. I will post my updates here as I go

I'm interested to see how this works for you. Looks like the price is a helluva lot better than DynaMat.
How many square feet did you get for your rig and how much are you going to cover.
I just finished doing this in my Bronk, but with Peal n Seal. I definitely think it is worth it, especially when you use the cheaper stuff. Hopefully you won't have to spend countless hours cleaning the interior as much as I did...
cant find the pean seal out here.

hell just removing the trim panals stoped alot of the noise in the cab.

read the first line in my first post.....

Im covering everything that I can
I got some Grace ice & water shield from lowes. It is the same thickness as dynamat, and it's the peel and seal type stuff. IIRC it was $46 for 108 sq/ft.
made some progress

This crap sticks to anything including you. some times it was a huge pita to get it to line up how I wanted it without it sticking to something and screwing it up. It smells slightly too. It is nice and flexable too so getting it to form around bends and crap is easy. I decided Im only going to do the floor under the front seats due I might want to bedliner the rear portion of the floor. I will always have carpet under the front seats tho since I have tons of wires hidden under there and Im fond of crapet anyway. I think Im going to cut it close with 100sq and hats without doing the rear.

trying out the paint on stuff. It seems to work well on plastic but sucks to apply on the door. I kinda half assed the door cause I wasent liking how it was coming out. I had to do a couple coats to get it to stick to the door compared to the one coat on the plastic. The plastic on teh other hand looks good. I thought it would be easier to apply that the stick on stuff but I think its the other way around.

ANY building products store will have it, even ACE has it here, "sub seal" is the brand i prefer and what they should carry. its used to seal up doors/windows and as a moisture barrier so with all the new construction that is hitting AZ i can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to get some. i think i'm gonna try some of the premium carpet padding we're throwing away at the house i'm remodeling, shits like an inch thick. can't beat free.

dunno dude I couldnt find shit here, I check lowes, home depot, ace and pretty much anywhere else, I got sick of driving around so I got stuck ordering the edead, was only $1 a sq ft so it wasent too bad.
Here is the post where I did mine with FatMat and Peel & Seal.

I found an interesting crack in the body too, I will post a pic of it later. I just came inside to burn a cd so I can have some fresh death metal to get me ripping and tearing on the bronco :rockon
Aren't people dieing in AZ from the heat :shrug

What are you going to do to cut noice from the fiberglass top :shrug
I work in a shop with swamp coolers all day so Im used to the heat. damn humity jumps the swamp ass factor up tho so it kinda sucks.

I havent thought about the top yet. mine has a head liner in it tho so I dont think its that big of a deal. Im going to get this done first and see what happens. I think it will improve alot. I finished one door last night and you could tell a differnce with tapping on the outside of both doors. one had a hollow noise and the other was just a thud. I dont expect it to be like my F150 interms of noise level inside but just hope to make it better. It was getting out of hand there for a while. my dash is a big problem too, damn things flops in the wind and yes Ive done the TSB fix too it. Im notsure what I can do to fix it in short of buying a new one.
thought about that....except the whole damn dash is plastic!!!
you need those foam cups that go behind the door speakers.

I covered those holes in the doors with the sticky roll stuff.
changing the window motor wasn't fun, but I was done in an hour.

I put 2-3 layers of the rool stuff on the tailgate trim panel. It helped noice more than anything, but the TG weighs a 20lbs more now.
used just about all of the 100sq ft I bought so I guess the right amount, just have to finish putting the interior back together now after I do a couple things to my cage that will require some welding.

kinda of a wierd location for a crack. I tell you I find all kinds of little cracks here and there, wheeling sure takes its toll.....

If you can't find peal n seal try www.abccatalog.com. That is where I ordered it from and got it quite quickly, since I could not find it anywhere in my neck of the woods.
I got the carpet and driver seat back in just to go drive it. The stereo sounds 10 times better I was impressed. Its also a bit quieter but I sill need to track down the one very annoying rattle
