I'm far away from any good store here and just want to make sure I have what Ineed before I rip the front axle apart. If a typical chebby spring of 1.25 OD will fit, my 30mm spring is a lot softer and good enough.

Just took it apart, 30mm OD spring is just fine, I think 33mm is an absolute maximum.

Edit:
My spring length is 1.25" and you might have to be a bit angry to get a 33mm OD spring in.

C-clip elimination for the passenger side axle. So it's nice & easy to just pull the sucker out of the pig instead of having to drop the entire differential.

didn't have to drop the differential to pull the passenger side of my brothers out... what gives with the spring trick??

edit... nevermind...we just took the two "outers" out of the slip joint.... the center ujoint stayed... i understand what it's for now
