I just got my 86 Bronco back on the road. It is a 302 with a 4 speed manual. Anyway, when I am idling in neutral, the clutch makes a squeeky sound unless I slightly depress the clutch. This also happens when I am driving it. It always goes away if I just barely depress the clutch. It is giving me a headache. Any ideas on what is causing the noise?

Bad clutch, bad throwout bearing, bad pilot bushing or bad likage adjustment(don't know if your hydro clutch or not).....My guess would be you need a new clutch though........I'm doing mine this weekend...Fog

when you put the throw out bearing on did you grease the input shaft and the inside surface of the bearing.

I lubed the shaft but not the inside of the bearing. I was thinking of pulling off the arm and trying to get my hand in there with some more grease......
