I've been reading lately that several of you have a squeeking belt. Well thanks alot, now mine started doing it. Sympathy pains I guess. This morning my boss heard me pull in and said my belt must be dry. I popped the hood and cranked it up and he took his soap stone pencil and let it ride on the belt at the alternator pulley. Guess what happened next! NO squeek! It didn't squeek when I went to lunch or on the way home. Could it be the miracle cure? I reckon the real test is how long will it last. At least for now people don't cover their ears when I go by.

Yep, I use soap whenever it happens to me, so long as it's the belt, and not somethin else.
