Hey just wanted to let everyone know about this. I've just done a rebuild on an 86 full size and had been going through starters and flex plates every couple months. Everyone sells the 9 tooth starter and ford calls for it on the 164 tooth flex plate. The 10 tooth starter is the fix for this. NAPA part# 244-922710.
