I cant turn my ignition to the off position and remove the key.... only if its in auxilary mode... which is annoying as hell since I have to DC the battery each time I turn her off.
Im assuming I just need to pick up a new Ignition and keys, but before I shell out the 15 bucks for it, and the money for towing... and the cost of installing it.... checking if maybe there is something im missing? Or else I can always install a battery kill switch....

If you're picking up a new lock cylinder, why would you have the truck towed? And the cost of installing it is maybe 30 sec if you take a smoke break in the middle. What you're missing is the sticky that recommends SEARCHING before posting.

So, this isn't one of the ones you have to tear off half the crap on the steering columns? Its just the one you unscrew and slide it out?
