i have just bought a 1969 bronco with my uncle. We plan to remove the body and get a new one. But theres still the question steel or fiberglass? i can get fiberglass newhere, but does anyone know where to find steel body kits? :thumbup

you can get steel doors, fenders, maybe a hood, rear quarter skins, grill, but you cant get steel tubs. You can get the floor pieces for the front, and i think the corugated for the bed, but the rest of the rear tub only comes in fiberglass. If you plan on doing any wheeling, I would stick with steel. Much easier and cleaner to fix when damaged. If its a street cruiser, go with the fiberglass. Altho, there is a rumour that someone is going to release a complete steel kit, includes everypiece needed to redo your body.

amazingly, of the say 100 bronco forums out there, you happened upon 1 of 5 that features big broncos only. The other 95 deal in the EB's (not eddie bauers, the *real* EB's). here are some EB related links to help your uncles project.

thanks, my uncles an impatiant kinda guy so were leaning twords fiberglass. Me and him both bought this bronco together, and its my second bronco project, his first classic bronco, but we both have 4x4s. Mines a 1990 bronco, his is a 1994 jeep.
