After I turn left or right, my steering doesn't like to center back up and I have to fight it for a bit, then it's fine until the next time I turn. I don't drive the Bronco too much, so it sits a lot. It has 97k miles on it.

A friend had suggested that it's the front axle U joints binding because they're old and worn out and some WD40 should free them up, but they'd eventually have to be replaced. This happens with my hubs un-locked. I haven't tested it with 4wd engaged.

Does this sound like it could be my problem? It started happening all of a sudden and wasn't a gradual thing, so I wouldn't suspect a ball joint problem or steering gearbox problem.

Any help is appreciated.
