OK... So yesterday I had run out of gas...gauge is broken, forgot to check before I left...but that is beside the point. So once I got the Bronc into a lot, A friend and I were pushing her into a parking spot. My fiance was at the wheel (mistake #2) and was cranking on the wheel when we were not pushing saying the wheels don't turn... no shit.

Then started the leak of power steering fluid.

I opened the hood and found this...

Is that a gasket? Is this replaceable? Or do I need a new shaft assembly?

Anyway, I had her towed home (the Bronc) and currently chilling in the garage. Please help with any insights!

...and by not hurt, can you explain? I mean it kicked out a lot of fluid, is it just a matter of swapping out the boot?
