For those who have had to replace their clock spring, does one get the part from the Ford delaer or is there a reliable aftermarket replacement part for this item?

I need to replace the clock spring in my 94. After reading many threads on here after searching to find out more about the part, it seems this is a common wear/failure part.

I had a quote of $93 for the part from a Ford dealer. I don't know if this is a "ball park" price for those who have had to replace this wear item or if this price is way too high.

I checked at my local Pep Boys tonight and they don't stock the part at all.

If there is a reliable aftermarket replacement clock spring, who makes it and what is an appropriate retail price for the part?

Thanks fellas!

I never found an after market clock spring when I needed one. You might want to check a u-pull it junk yard if you have one close. Even the used ford parts place in town wanted a ton of money for one.
