I'm in such a good mood that I even wave at jeeps sometimes.
:hahaMan, it didn't just put you in a good mood, it made you high!:lolsign

I don't have a recent pic, but here she is not too long after her new coat almost 2 years ago. Hard to believe it's been that long and she hasn't been topless since. Need to remedy that:thumbup

that's a clean '82!

Now that I got my '78 running and the top of for the first time in 5 years, you can't peel the smile off my face with a 10ft crowbar. I just got fenderwell headers/cherry bombs and turnouts installed - it's loud but I run with pink ear plugs which tones it down a bit. I don't even mind traffic with the 4 -sp manual, I'm in such a good mood that I even wave at jeeps sometimes. Every one of the cagers are stuck in their AC, but still not near as cool as me in the old ford under the hot Alabama sun (at least that's what I keep telling myself while blasting Junior brown on the old home stereo speakers laid up in the back).
Thank you <img src="http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/images/smilies/biggthumpup.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" class="inlineimg" /> Congrats on getting her running...I know the feeing about the smile on your face. Mine had been there 22 weeks, since the minute she got here from Texas.

Well, As luck would have it, I put the top back on a couple days ago and the freaking rear window quit rolling up (not even with assistance) - will still go down! WTH - this thread is cursed - beware...
I guess I wouldn't be a classic bronco owner without doing the rear window motor rebuild, kind of a right of passage...

This is what I'm most dreading about my Bronco:
Dealing with the tailgate rebuild/replacement/repair/rewire. :banghead :cry

There's probably already a thread for this, but I couldn't find it ?

So... last weekend we finally had a few nice (and dry) days here in NwPa, so we decided to take the top off the '82, and go for a float...First time for us having the top off since we got her in November, came off pretty easy since none of the trim pieces are in there... man does it make it easy to get the 'yaks in... Plus (added bonus) having the cargo area mounted spare gave us a great place to strap the boats ?
Elk Creek access in NwPa is a nice little place to go if you don't like crowded (we don't people well), but the few that are there will stop what they're doing and stare when you roll in ?
Now that is one heck of a Bronco you have there, I'm very jealous! Congrats on finally being able to drive with the top off!

Awe thanks @DavesNotHere44 Over a year searching, then had to watch it for over a month while waiting for a dog bite settlement to come thru (talk about nerve wracking). Added bonus, it dropped 3k$ ? during that time. Hubby got her for me as a thanks for the last 20 years present ?
Was never able to take the top off the 90 we had years ago, so this was extra special.

Found some topless pics, and some of my bronco too.. Was a great day because it was stuffed with pistol/rifle/shogun stuff for a range day.

Hopefully will be hair in the air during the weekend for the 4th.
