Super Bowl Sunday is always a looooong day in front of the tube,...opc1:...so I'm planning...

• Pickled herring and pickled pig's feet w/crackers,
• Doritos w/Velveta & salsa,
• Either chicken wings or boiled shrimp.

Oh yes! Vodka and tonic...

A little super bowl "laginappe" from the Bronocmeaux kitchen

150 lbs fresh gulf shrimp, Cajun Boil
150 lbs fresh crawfish, spicy boil
2 sacks ice cold oysters
5 bushels of bbq blue crab
20 gallons spicy gumbeaux
12 doz. crab stuffed jalapenos
Hot french bread, brown rice

5 pans of the "world's best" bread pudding w/ bourbon sauce

...and of course, enough ice cold cerveza to make it all wash down good

The best angle of this buffet is eatin' great the week following, making
etouffe and bisque and po' boys involving all the left overs.

Being a lifelong Washingtonian (even when I move away, I always end up back here) it's so freakin' cool to see the SeaChickens FINALLY make it to the SuperBowl.
Even if they don't win, this is the most exciting sports event WA residents have had to get excited over in many years!
