Anyone in the Syracuse, NY area, there will be a BBQ fundraiser for a friend of mine who was involved in a plane crash a few months ago. His name is Jim Spaller and he was actually my flight instructor (although he was training someone else at the time of the crash). He survived the crash with leg and lung injuries, but sadly the pilot he was training died.
Jim is getting out of the hospital shortly, and they are having a BBQ at the Exec Air hangar at Syracuse Airport on August 16th. Link is attached, it is only $10 for all you can eat and drink, $25 for a family of four. It will be for a great cause to boot.
You could also win a week at a resort at Hatteras Island, or a week at a 5-star resort in W. Palm Beach, Florida. I will be there, for sure.
