I have a question, maybe one of you knows the answer.

I have a BW1356 in my truck, and im pretty sure the chain is stretched. I have access to anther one (for free), but there is a slight problem: the replacement one is from a p/u, so it is set up for a slip-yoke, not a double-cardan.
Is it possible to swap the outputs from one case to the other, or am i better off just swapping the chain?
Or is this just a complete waste of my time?

Yeah, but dont both of those attach basically the same way to the t-case? In the rear the tailpiece is different, with an output shaft the slipyoke rides on. Im assuming the whole tailpiece can be swapped from one case to the other, or do i need to bust it apart to change the output shaft too:confused:
