So i swapped out the 203 t-case on my 76 f-100, and installed a 208. Now i have a yoke problem....the yokes on the 208 are nearly 1/2 inch wider than the yokes that were on my 203. Does anyone know if there is an aftermaket yoke that will go on the 208 to match my old driveshafts??? What would/did you do?

what did the 208 come out of? Bronco? sounds like you have a 1330 series yoke on there .... pull that yoke, go back to the wreckers and trade that yoke for a 1310 series yoke off a F-100/150 4x4. Bronco's and 3/4 tons had the larger 1330 series yokes (Bronco's having the dual cardan CV yoke).

No, the problem is that the 208 is set up for a CV and the 203 was set up for a simple u-joint. I may have the yoke you need. Measure the spacing of the bolt holes on the 203 yoke and count the splines and I'll see if my extra yoke matches.

FYI...The 208 came out of a 1983 Ford F-150. My stock shaft for the 203 has a dual cardan cv in it....DUSTBALL-i will get back sunday afternoon with those yoke measurements.... :thumbup

Is there really a difference in the yokes for a Tcase that has a a standard driveline, and one that has a CV driveline?
Yes, I went through all this when my t-case went kaput in South Dakota and I wound up getting a 208 but it had the wrong yoke on it.

Okay i did some more trial and error. I installed the rear yoke from my 203 on the 208, accompanied with a 203 seal in the 208, and everything looks good. Now....i just need to find a front yoke that i can use with my dual cardan shaft.........needs to be as follows

-FRONT YOKE: 32 spline, 1 7/8 " seal diameter. Longways bolt dimension is 2 11/16". Shortways bolt dimension is 1 13/16" (Outside of holes to Outside of holes)

thanx... Dan
