Sorry about that I’m pretty new to this website and finally addressing old issues with the bronco, hahaNot knowing what year ur bronco is cause you don't have it in your signature, I found this on the forum talking about a 96 with tach issues. maybe some of the troubleshooting tips will be helpful.
even after engine warmup, the tachometer would still stay between 2000 - 2500 rpm. when just revving engine seems like the tachometer doesnt move with the engine rpms. what can cause this issue, and can this also cause transmission shift issues?www.fullsizebronco.com
Yeah it seems like i’ll be checking a bunch of wiring. So mine on my 88 wasn't spinning like that but it was wigging out bad and it was the TFI module on the distributor. Check the wiring connections, maybe yours is just dirty. Does your truck run well otherwise?
