I believe I have a problem with the switch that keeps the Tail Gate Window from operating unless the gate is up.

It all started when a plastic "retainer clip?" broke and an arm on the latch handle came out and I could not drop the gate. I rigged it and then when I went to put the window up it stopped half way. I was able to get it to go down and up by direct wire of the motor to a battery.

However, now I am not sure how to fix. I am not even sure how to find the switch, what it looks like, how to remove it, and how much it costs.

Please help.

Its on the driverside top latch. Look inside the door and you will see it in there.

This is the latch that controls all the rods. Chances are it's worn out or the spring is broke. I just replaced mine a couple months ago.
