I have a 2wd 5speed out of a 94 f150 I want to make it work in my 88 4wd that has a c6. What do I need to do to this trans to make it work?
I have the peddles all the hydrolics and the flywheel out of the donor truck.

Looks like Ford went back to steel and away from the magnesium frame.
I put a clutch lever stop on the floor of my '91 Bronco, didn't want to crack
that thin magnesium sucker. And added a thicker softer upper stop too.

Check out the wear on your pushrod and stud, here's what mine looked like...

New Idea i think its just my vacuum modulator. The vacuum modulator should pull vacuum at idle and its not.


Now the question is if I pull the vac line at the modulator the modulator its self should be pulling vacuum right?

No the vacuum is coming thru the line which is connected to the intake plenum. disconnect the line at the modulator see if it has transmission fluid in it. if it does your modulator is bad.
