so i got pulled over finaly for no brake lights. to my suprise i didnt have running lights either. checked fuses and put new bulbs in. still cant figure out whats wrong. got my brake light to work by putting a new fuse in but no luck on the tail running light. any one have a clue?

You might want to check for a "rub through" in the wires. Something made your fuse on the stop light blow. I have also found bent wire ends in the tail light assembly itself, but that was always on older rigs. (older like 40s and
50s)
Also, were the bulbs that you took out blown? If they were blown as well, you need to find out what is blowing them or you will get to discuss your problems with John Law again and again.

It might be possible that you replaced a dual filament bulb with a single. That could cause the light to only work when braking and although the bulb is getting power for the running lights it of course won't be working without the second filament. They are interchangeable, so it's possible.

Anyone else agree with that?
