I'm in the process of changing my tailgate. The problem is, The two metal brackets that bolt to the bottom of the glass. 3 of the 4 nuts twisted off. Can I just grind and drill them out or do I need to buy new ones?

They should be riveted unless somebody has already replaced them with bolts. But they can be ground off in any event.
i think he's talking about the slides that are bolted to the piece thats riveted to the glass. i think the only way around it is to grind down the heads of some bolts and have them welded on.
