Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I did a search and nothing really came up.

What I want to do is take the liftgate/rear window from an f-150 canopy and bolt it to the roof of my bronc. This way I can open up the window like a conventional canopy and no messing around with my rear window. Has anyone done this before, what do you all think?

Anything is possible with the right tools and time. You know it would not be a direct bolt on though, you'd have seal issues at the top and the bottom with the curvature of the top, it could be done with proper fabrication though.

It would probably take less time to fix your tailgate and your window so they actually work.

I had almost the exact same idea for my window.

The charm with this is that you don't have to deal with the recurring electrical problems.

find an old camper somewhere and use the hinged glass.
