For anyone who has bought a new tailgate window motor, how did you connect it? The connecting wires on the one I got are about 1/3 shorter than on the stock unit.

If you don't have the solder-less terminals in the garage, any auto parts store carries them. :thumbup

I would do that, but I had a core charge on the part, so I'm not sure if they would take it with the wires all cut up.

they replace all that the corcharge is for the casing

i just spliced them with those little tube deals that you crimp on the wires... then wrapped them in elect. tape just cus i had a new roll...:brownbag

Thanks for the help, I'll just splice in the old wires. I didn't know if there was something special to do for it.

Is it not supposed to have the connector on already? Because the one I got does.
