FYI: Last week we got news and video of a smuggler crossing the Colorado River in a '96 Bronco their were approximately nineteen illegals in the truck, the bronco was traveling at an estimated 60 mph down a dirt road when it hit an intersection and was t boned by a speeding motorist, the truck received side damage, but was still drivable. The driver was caught and all eighteen illegals were deported with only scratches, The truck was pratically stock.:rockon

I guess I can't say I'm surprised that it was drivable, after that. After you stuff 19 people into it, there's not much room for the body panels to give in an accident like that.... I wonder if anyone thought to check behind the dash... mighta been a 20th person in the truck. Shoot, maybe even a 21st one, in the tailgate :shrug

I believe it...we fit 13 people "in" a miata once to drive from one party to another. Granted a few were on the hood as well as on and in the trunk.

20 people averaging 160lbs apiece (on the light side), is 3200 pounds...making a 5800 pound truck 9000 pounds.

Not many cars can hit a 9000 pound anything and not be totalled.

yes it was tight.....just think of the game twister.

Fit 30 in a silverado. Needless to say, the rear suspension was shot after that. Whimpy piece of shit dragged the rear bumper on the ground the day after. But the ram easily fit 20 with no problem. I'm guessin' this "load" in the bronco was a buncha midgets.
