Hello all,
I have a 1989 Ford Bronco XLT. Two times in the last 3 years my truck has died along side the road for no apparent reason.
The truck will start to lose power slowly than it just stalls. It will start up again, run very rough and then stall again.
Neither a Ford Dealership nor my regular repair shop has been able to tell me why. The truck will starts up after 2-3 hours and not give me any problems.
I thought it may have something to do with my Exhaust system, not sure.
Does anyone have any advice for me?
Patty

which engine? transmission?

is it efi? or carb?

i'd start by making sure the wires to / from the battery are clean and in good repair.
then, i'd look at the fuel system.
