Hi Everybody
I just recently purchased a 95 full size. The only thing I am not able to figure out at the moment is why the temp gauge does not seem to work. Any Ideas???

locate the temp sender on the lower intake. ground out the wire and see if it pegs the needle. If it does, it's probably just the sender.

We need more info on your engine. PO (previous owners) have been known to completely ruin electrical systems by fiddling with things they know nothing about. Check the wiring for any wear or breakages. The temp sending unit is located just behind the thermostat housing on the 302 and 351 engines.

It's possible that the gauge is working perfectly fine and that your engine isn't getting up to operating temp because of a stuck open thermostat.

When I had that problem it ended up being the fan was always turning at the engine speed. I replaced the fan unit and the gauge finally moved up.

I agree, ground the sender wire.
