Hey, just posting some pictures of my Bronco on here.
Little story on it.
This actualy belonged to my grandfather. He has travelled around the US, Canada, Mexico, pretty much most of North America and parts of Central America for the past 20-25 years. This was his pride and joy. He did a lot to it to make himself self sufficent if he were to be in the wilderness by himself. He done many things to make sure that he could get back to civiliztion if needed. As of last October, he said to me that he is too old for that, and is now going back to Italy, where he lives, and has handed the truck to me. Now, here I am with a truck, something Im not used to as I am a sports car guy, but this truck is pretty cool. There are a lot of cool gadgets that I know you guys have probably heard of or have done to it, so its probably no big shake to all of you. Anyway, here are some shots of the car in my driveway.

ahahaha...Ok, will never call it a "car" again.
And yes, thoes are 4x5 gallon gas jugs...on top of the 45 gallon gas tank.
Yeah, good thing Jersey gas is cheap...ish. I actualy havent really driven the truck yet. Its sitting in my driveway, waiting to be tagged, titled and insured.

They are not currently full of gas, no. And since my Grandfather, being Italian and all, he does not drink water, he drinks wine and wine only. Water is for cleaning. :)

Anyway, yes there used to be 2 spare tires, but one fell off when he was in Canada/Alaska and he didnt realize it till it was too late. IMO, my favorite thing is the air compressor that is attatched to the front of the engine that is run off a V belt from the crank. Pretty cool IMO.

Sweet! Finally someone else with the slider side windows :chili: Very rare.

What is the badge above and to the right of your drivers side door handle?

Nice truck!

Nice truck, and welcome. I like the dual tire carrier - but that has to be hell on the tailgate. Do you know if the suspension's been modified, to handle the extra load?

btw, I changed your pictures to url's, because of their massive size

The badge on the B Pillar says XLT. I dont know if thats stock or what.

And yes, the suspension has been played with to give it a little lift. Im sure you guys know more about it then I do, or what came stock, etc.

As for his stories, when he dropped off the car at my house, he stayed for a few days before heading back to Italy. He did tell some stories about being in Mexico, he loves the Grand Canyon and the Southwest. He also is a great photographer, and has stacks and stacks of books of books of pictures. In his house in Italy, he has a large map of North America, and he has marked out where he has been in push pins and thread, each marking each trip he would come to America and make his trip.
Anyway, yeah I know he has a list of what is done to the truck, and I know some of it, but the other stuff, the more 4x4 off roading stuff, I dont know. Not to mention, its a Ford, and that just aint my bag.
I plan on getting tires for it soon, and replace the windshield on it. I think Im gunna play around with the old girl, but I dont have long term plans to keep it. I have too many cars, and not enough money!!
