So on another forum I bum around on, i was scrolling through the classifieds when I came to an add for "FREE (4) 33x12.50-15's"
So I clicked on it. It said 1/3-1/2 tread, free if you pick up. So I glanced at the post date and my heart fell, the post was almost a month old. Decided to send a guy a PM anyway since the worst he could say was "Oops, i didn't delete the add"
Well, he called me today saying the tires were still around :shocked. Apparently people had called on them, but no one had actually come by to pick them up.
So today after work I made the run. It was about 70 miles round trip, but took almost 3 hours (limited highway).
I get there, and it's a set of BFG MT's. Two are easily 60% tread, one is 50% ish, and the 4th will still pass inspection but would be best as a spare. No pics yet, too dark out. Now i just need to track down one more 33 and one more 8 spoke steel wheel and I'm ready to roll with the lift :chili:
