OK I am trying to change the thermostat got it all back together and I have a leak somewhere. Am I supposed to use some sort of sealer? Anyone?

Some silicone is fine. Don't forget to install the t-stat spring-side into the intake manifold. Give it a smear of RTV all around the _clean_ mating surface of the thermostat housing, drop in the thermostat spring out, and bolt it to the _clean_ mating surface of the intake manifold. Don't tighten the daylights out of the bolts or you'll squeeze all of the silicone out and it won't seal.
