things i learned today while plowing snow with a tractor:

1. Fourwheel drive does not mean you are less likely to get stuck.
2. it really means you are more apt to get stuck worse.
3.the manual locking rear diff does not help the situation.
4.it dosn't matter how much you spin the tires, you're still gonna be stuck.
5.the more you spin the tires, the deeper a hole you will be in.
6.an s-10 blazer's receiver hitch will not hold up to more than three jerks of the chain before it departs from the vehicle.
7.you knew the s-10 blazer wouldn't pull the damn thing anyways.
8.start the payloader before plowing so it has ample enough time to warm up.
9.put fuel in the payloader first.
10.don't use the payloader to plow because you're just gonna back it into the creek like you did with the tractor.

I guess that when you live in east bumfuk and the closest towns that are worth a shit are Salamanca and Olean, you're gonna have a lot of learning experiences like this.

you forgot #11. you suck at operating a tractor.
the payloader bit was just put in there for fun, and the tractor was a john deer 4110 (read: oversized lawnmower with a loader on the front). i was pushing snow into the creek (is that against some D.E.C. law by the way?) like i always do, and it sank about six inches, just enough to kill any forward motion (it's got industrial ag tires, the type that arn't intended to dig)

It is:
1. don't try doing burnouts with neighbor's backhoe.
2. if presence of said neighbor's daughter mandates doing said burnouts, make sure said backhoe's backhoe is fully retracted.
3. if said backhoe ain't fully retracted, or you're just too full of yourself to check for that, at least make sure neighbor's daughter is holding on to something before you hit the gas and the front wheels lift off the ground.
4. your neighbor has very good hearing and is very fast on his feet.
5. your grandpa also has good hearing and fast feet.
6. your grandpa and your neighbor think alike :smilie_slap
7. when you recover and take the darn girl out, at least make out or something, you know her dad is going to kill you anyways

Ask me how I know all that! :toothless

i only wana see pics of the neighbors daughter. there's not much to see with the cheby ass-10, the hitch is only held on with two bolts (class 2 or 1 hitch) which pulled out of the factory pressed cardboard frame

Lol, you guys, that was a few years ago when I was still overseas, didn't have a driver's license then, much less a camera, haha :D But to make you feel better, the hottie in question is now a sniper and a fling-wing pilot for some soldiers of fortune squad, last time I heard from her (a month or so ago) they were somewhere in Africa guarding forgot what facility from local opportunists. As for the backhoe, it was just a CAT that the bucket was too far out and when I hit the gas tractor went off balance and lifted the front end, chick rolled back and off the cab, and bucket hit the ground and started dragging and I've been told it was throwing some nice sparks as well :toothless
