In my small town there is a guy driving a 1992-1996 f150 I am certain that this truck has 16" wheels off of a 1997-2003 f-150. This isn't the first I've seen. The question is HOW THE HELL DO THEY DO THIS? The 1992-1996 has a 5-139.7mm pattern and the 1997-2003 has a 5-135mm pattern. What are they doing to make these fit? Does anyone know i've got some 35-12.50-16 I would love to run as summer tires.

There are ways, but they aren't safe (from what I've heard)

This truck i've seen isn't something that someone would spend the money to buy spacers. it is a rebuilder here in town whos a cheap-ass.

He could have reamed out the lug holes on the wheels but that's a really bad idea.
