I know I need a haynes manual but I don't have one right now. Looks like both tie rod ends are shot. They spin when trying to tighten the nuts. My question is, do you have to replace the drag link to replace the passenger side end? I know the drivers side screws in but the passenger?

Thanks

Cameron

On the 78 the passenger side goes ALL the way to the driver side tie rod adjuster sleeve. So if i understand what you are asking... yes you do have to replace the long bar to get a new rod end on the passenger side.

Is this true for all years? Because my '92 has the adjuster sleeve thing on the passenger side, as well as the drivers side. It looks like I only need to replace the small L-shaped piece with the joint and not any sort of long rod. Is this stock for a '92?
