I would like to know which tires are the best for lots of off roading and some town driving. I am getting a 6 inch lift. I was looking at super swampers(TSL's,IROK's), bfgoodrich(mud terrains), mickey tompson(baja claw in particular), other others. I would like to know if i should get them in 35x12.5x15's or 36x12.5x15's and would i have to do trimming on the fenders etc. to fit them on.

please tell me the " " means youre just fawkin around...

im going to run 39.5" TSLs when i do my SAS. i hear theyre great for mud- but crap for on-road driving. im sponsered by a company- so i get new tires when i need em:goodfinge .

i hear the IROK radials are good- but they chunk. the bias ply IROKs are really soft- and they chunk too.

most people will tell you to go BFG cus its a good all-around tire.

i havnt heard much about the MTs

you wont have to trim for 35x12.50 if you get a 6" kit.

now shut the fawk up and search...

i searched for the tire types and found not much info. I did find info on the 36 inch tires somepeople say i do have to trim the fender some say i dont some say body lift i am just trying to get some straight answers. I was hoping somebody will giveme a straight answer after searching. I searched for baja claw and it came up with oscer's new tires and some other links but none said if they are a good tire.

Does anybody have experience with the claw's or the irok's or the Tsl's. I would like a tire that wears slowly. but will give me good offroading tread and on road tread.

I have 6 inches (tee hee:doh0715: ) and I am running 36x12.5xr15 TSL SX's. They suck on the road but are kick ass in anything else. They flatspot bad when my truck sits for a while. So far there is zero rubbing.

So the 36's are good, do you have good articulation offroad?

if one want good on road preformance go mud terrians because they get increadible on road wear and are good off road. i know that TSL's are great off road and i think you can get a radial in it and i've been told that you can get decent milage with it. My thinking on your 6 inch lift is that there should be no rubbing, i think this because i read it on the tire and lift section of the forum and i have 33' on a stock bronco that dont rub at all so lifting it six and gieting a inch to inch and a half bigger radius on the tire shouldn't make it rub

Stole this from 90beater's webpage.
I think i am going to go with some 35's instead. I am going to get radials. How can you tell if your rim fits on a tire. 35x12.5-15LT the 15 means rim height the 35 means tire height and 12.5 means tire width. But i have 15x8 rims will those fit on the 35's
