Everyone else takes their top off, so I wanted to be with the in crowd. After having this top on for 11 years, I let the truck breathe...only for an hour though (new england weather you know...could snow tomorrow)

lookin good...

i will be taking the top off of my babe for the first time today as well...
NICE!
I love going topless...now if I could get the wife to do it, that would be even better!
I like that red look, great looking truck...
only for an hour? dang, too bad for you. My top won't be going back on for at least 4 more months. And my other Bronco will never get it's top back on. But then, neither of mine look as good as yours does, either. I dig that monochrome front treatment :rockon
Sharp Sport! Don't see to many...

i might go topless today too, i love the monochrome red paint
this comes at a good time. if my bronco has not had its top off at all, when you take it off, will the seal not be as strong when u put it back on and will water and stuff leak?
looks great

mine hasnt had the top on it for nearly a month now

The seal was fine when I took everything off. I just made sure it sat where it was before when reapplying it. It rained after I put the top back on, and I didn't have any leaks, so I think it should be fine.

And thanks guys for all the compliments.
Got a nice set of 33's for nothing from a friend of mine. I need at least 3 inches of lift to squeeze them in. They're 12.5 inches wide.

All you need is a tarp and bungee cords:thumbup
Just a tip: With the top off you may want to take your tire cover off or attach it with a bunge cord to the swing away tire carrier.

I lost mine doing 70 mph down the interstate with the top off.:doh0715:
I just took my top off today for the second time since I bought it. It looks real sweat! I even made something to allow me to remove the top by myself, without major ape work. I would post a few pics, but Supermotors is still down for me. I will post pics of both my baby and the top stand when I can.

ha, I think I read that. Mine has a little tie going through the perimeter of the cover, which after tightening on the tire, I tie a couple times around the carrier, so it's not going anywhere. If by some miracle it does fly off, it'll just drag on the ground until I pull over anyway.
Like most others here...my top comes off in early spring and doesn't go back on until there's a chance of snow. I have to wear a jacket for a month or so on the way to work...but I love it!
yeah, I would leave it off, but mines fully carpetted, and leather interior, plus I don't want my radio getting stolen, so I can't really leave the top off like that. If it was gutted, and a workhorse, or an offroad vehicle, then I would have no problem with it. It's not really practical for me leaving the top off through the crappy weather here.

Maybe later in it's life though :)
