Well the ole C6 let me down today with the top off the bronco cruzing a beautiful sunny afternoon. Grinding in first and reverse, pretty metal flake in the fluid, and thankfully near the inlaws house that I could keep in a garage until I get back up that way later with a trailer. I have a spare C6, a spare NP435, but would really like to just ZF swap if I'll do anything to gain overdrive.

I liked my NP435 33"s and 3.50 gears. 4th was plenty tall for the highway, I cruised at 80-85. It may be worth calculating RPM vs something comparable 4:10 gears and a ZF5 depending on your driving style?

You in CO yet? That will be a blast out in the front range.

It's been probably 10 years since I was in a topless bronco. That needs to change!

@NickOille LOL!!! I was wondering when someone would comment. BTW, I was looking at the Broncograveyard’s tops.

The black states “new marine grade” material. The beige does not. Does the top come with the rails/bows and how much drilling do you have to do?

Thinking of leasing a 2020 F-150 2.7L regular cab shortbox 4by, so I won't have to spend a lot of time moving or working on junk.
