I removed the switch device on the tailgate inside and laid it all out in-line, so I could get it back together without a diagram but I think you have to remove the trim panel off the back of the tailgate to actually get the cylinder itself out. I wouldn't bother with it unless I was planning on replacing it.

But 90% of the tech here is fuggin' Swahili to me. :ROFLMAO::(:cry:😭

90% of anything that has to do with electrical = Swahili, or Russian, or Basque, etc, etc..........

I feel ya man. I've got the EVTM in paperback and I still don't have a damn clue. It's like a mental block. I do best when I can lay it out in front of me. I tried as best I could to simplify this write-up for future users and folks following along at the time but it's like trying to make music out of gibberish. My hats off to professional electricians.
