I've got 8 wires out the back of my 1990 XLT for the factory trailer wiring. 6 of them are hooked up to a standard 7-pin RV connector, leaving 2 wires disconnected. I know some, but what do the other wires go to ???

White = Ground Wire
Yellow = Left Turn Signal
Brown/White = Tail Lights
Orange = ???????? ; connected to the "auxiliary" pin
Green = Right Turn Signal
Blue = ???????? ; connected to the "electric brakes" pin

Then the two wires not connected are Red/Yellow, and Red/Green ... What do these two wires go to as well ????????

I ordered a vacuum/wiring book, but it hasn't arrived yet, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Trailer Brake Lamp From Controller - R/LG - R/LG
Trailer Back Up - BK/PK - R/Y
Thanks man, but I'm not familiar with what a "Trailer Brake Lamp From Controller" is? Any insight?

Also, according to what you have listed, then I should connect the Red/Yellow wire up to the center pin(s) of the 7-pin RV connector on my Bronco ... in the event I ever tow something with reverse/back-up lights on it?

Thanks again, yo. :thumbup

I'd leave that center Pin empty since it's just another thAng to short or grnd out, (Pin #1 in the 96 Bronco Diagram below, but Ford musta changed colors by 96 from R/Y to (BK/LB)
This is from a 96 Fod Manual;

"Trailer Brake Lamp From Controller" it's a little module that supplies power from da Bronco to the trailer's electric brakes.
It's shown in this Trailer & Camper Wiring Diagrams for 94 & 96 Trucks @ bottom left
