So I have a transmission leak that appeared to be coming from the front of the transmission pan. I decided today to check the bolts around the transmission pan and found that one was missing and all were loose. I replaced the missing bolt and tightened the rest. One was stripped but all the others tightened up. Anybody experience anything similar? Transmissions are really not my area so any advice or opinions are greatly appreciated. Oh, I forgot, I have a 94 with a 302 and auto trans. Thanks.

the bolt directly beneath the shift lever thing was stripped out on mine before. didnt pose any threat to leaks as long as the rest were good. you should check your fluid level. or might as well change the filter and gasket while youre down there. put a nice coat of hi-performance grabber green on the pan like i did.
