My 1975 F250 2wd has the C6 automatic tranny mated to a 390 in it right now. I was wondering what my options would be if I wanted to put a 4 or 5 speed transmission in it.

He could also do a T19 couldn't he? And a ZF5 if he got the right adapters.
is there anyone making a ZF adaptor?

nv4500 might be a option if someone makes a bell housing, but it is doubtful.

Which ones are automatics? I would prefer to not have to swap to a standard.

none, you said 4 or 5 speed you have us all thinking of manual transmissions.

My bad. I was thinking an auto that has 4 or 5 gears in it. Only the 3 in the C6 keeps the rpms pretty high at highway speeds.

Swap in an E4OD...but I think you need a stand alone computer for that or purchase an OD unit from Gear Vendors...but last check that was $2500 as well. Or if it's strictly rpms you're worried about, throw on some bigger tires or go with a higher (numerically lower) gear.
