I have a leak underneath. My only one, so I guess I’m lucky. I’m assuming it’s a quite common leak. Anyone know what’s involved in fixing this? Thanks!

Thats the output shaft seal.

Shouldnt be too tough, and you can probably do it where its at.

It may not be as simple as the seal

when you change the seal
Put blue lock tite on the splines of the shaft the yoke slides on
It may very well be the leak
Lock tite will stop the spline leak. Many people miss this

There is also a rubber washer behind the yoke nut
clean the yoke surface where the seal rides with sand cloth
The yoke might be the problem
the sand cloth may or may not solve the leak
Do all these things. If it still leaks you might need a yoke
