Does anyone know where to get the push pins that holds the tailgate carpet on? Actually I could use a good source for a lot of little trim pieces such as door sill plates etc.

Use 80-86 sill plates. They are metal vs the crappy plastic of the later years.

My local auto parts store has some made by Dorman. They are black, so they don't match my trim, but it's the right size.

Yep, though screw holes may be in the wrong spot. Thats easy though

Black is a nice, generic color. Stick them in a piece of card board and paint them with some vinyl paint from the same parts store.
