Hey,

Looking for a headlight troubleshoot guide.

Had drivers headlamp go out (on low). swapped in two new wagner bulbs.. now drivers side is occasionaly working on initial startup but quickly shuts off. High beams/markers are good. No change if i wiggle/move the multi function stick.

Is there a guide to check for continuity/shorts?

Easy check here. Turn the lights on and wiggle the plug connected to the headlamp in question.

May simply be corrosion at headlamp connection. Wiggling it will uncover that. If it flashes on and off when you move the plug, either replace it or attempt to clean the connection.

Right! Sorry. Finally had a warm garage today to escape the cold...

It was the driver side socket, there is abit of flexion that was causing a poor connection.

I taped it tight with electrical tape and its fine for now. Planning on ordering some high temp sockets from candlepower that allow you to add your own wire rather than splicing to whatever pigtails come with the autozone brand.

Thanks for the links fellas
