hello all I am in dire need of some help. I am in the middle of a 4" rancho lift install on my 89 bronco. It is used and I have shotty instructions. I need to know where the doubler plate goes. any help asap would be great.

it is j shapped plate but I am still looking for where it goes got to have this thing out of the shop today. anybody put one on or have a rancho kit on there bronco.

Its probably a backing plate for one of the drop brackets

I know this is for a Rough Country lift, but it might help. All TTB lifts are more or less the same.

The zinc colored plate in this pic is my best guess as to what you're on about:

If that is the the plate in question, it goes...um...right there.

thanks guys the instruction set I had was had the part #'s mixed up I got the brackets on and the radius arms relocated. still no lift. If it could've gone wrong today it did. i finally called it quits after 6 hours a broken impact gun and a broken breaker bar. It is all up on jackstands right now. I would post pics but I left my camera at home. I'll snap some of the install itself tommorow say_no out

i knocked the rear coil pack over on it. it just sheared the air fitting off of it I am not sure that I can fix it.
