Whoa - that is a lot of giggle gas. VERY clean and well thought out build. Rock on man!
What flat black (brand) did you use? Did you rattle can it or spray?The blue is the original colour but as parts rotted before making it a summer toy I had various colours. The flat black was a short term solution but I like it so much I might do it again when it's pulled apart.
WOW that is a sweet ride! You must be proud of her.The paint was sprayed, it's PX8 2 part with the clear mixed 1/1 with deadner. The flames I found on the net, you pick the style and size and they run off the peel and stick stencil. Once in the paint booth just line it up and peel the center part and spray, with time being money it's a cheap alternative. The flames are the same paint without the deadner.
It's getting dark but I got a couple shots of the motor;
The rusty panel is the access plate to the nitrous purge fitting in the cowl, looking at the pic reminds me I need to clean that up, LOL
The tank on the rad is an overflow tank for the power steering. The March billet pump assembly needs help to work with bigger tires.
The filter is for the tranny, the little plate on the fender is the electronic controller for the electric fan.
thats what i did to get my 4 1/2 " rear lifton top. Why are you asking?:scratchhe
I've always had/seen the blocks on top and wedges on the bottom...I don't think it'll matter much with a 2" block but any more than that and i would think you would run into even more problems with spitting blocks out...Awsome truck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats what i did to get my 4 1/2 " rear lift
shakle flip and 2" blocks
The wedges are on top of the lift blocks ---is that correct ??
:toothlessI can't picture being without it. Doesn't matter how bad the day, when I fire it up and go for a ride everything else goes away. Great thing about these forums is seeing the amazing rides people have put together, so many toys and so little time.
