If anyone is curious here are some more progress pics of my SAS that Keith_L is helping me with.
http://www.superford.org/registry/vehicles/detail.php?id=1314&s=14787#content

He did pretty much 90% of the work while I sat around and played grinder boy most of the weekend.
(I also drank their beer hehe).

Keith was nice enough to let me use the plasma and the welder on a few things.
Lots of fun, and of course this project and the axle is all thanks to Keith he is the man and a true friend.:beer

I told Jer he had to print his modified Raf drawing so we could hang it on the shop wall to have a visual of the finished product like they do at the start of each Monster House :D

Thanks all.

Overbuilt is the plan.

I am actually going with 37" MTR's.
No robbie gordons, not enough fundage for bling.
I am either going with 17" rock crawlers, or 15" rock crawlers.
Depends on the cash flow, since the option to go 17's on rims and tires is a more expensive route.

It wont be done till 1st quarter of 2004.

I still have to regear (4.88'S), and finish building up the axle.

Plus i got to buy the rims and tires.

Just waiting for more cash:cry

you are supposed to staple it to the wall, ruining the wall at the same time.. sheeesh... you guys arent doing "monster house".. more like "trading spaces" with that hook.. :)

Keith IMO did a wonderful job.
He doesnt give himself enough credit, but sometimes that is a good thing then he never settles for second best.

As far as the bumpers go, I am hoping for the same exact design as Keith's rear bumper.
SIMPLE and to the point.

As for a front bumper Keith is right it will take some planning but I am thinking of simplicity and going with something like Scott Senko did:

Who knows, that is totally up to Keith.;)

I would actually prefer 2x4 instead of 2x6 for a front bumper though.
