My Wife took my Bronco to the DMV on Tuesday and the Female inspector told her to fin a vin number on my 78 Bronco on the frame. except when I went to look for it there was no number there do anyone Have any Ideas on where a Vin on the Frame would be? or any other Vin Numbers Besides the one on the Door?

I found it with a lot of scrubbing. Thanks so Much! I searhed but your link brought up more in the search then mine did.

It was to suggest searching, but I guess I'll go ahead and throw it out there. Its on the passenger side frame rail near the front body mount.

Why did the DMV ask? Is Kansas DMV so boring they have to invent things to do?

Guys, it's been more than 6 months since this thread was active, but I want to say THANK YOU to everyone for helping me find my VIN. Just where Ranger's pic said it would be, on top of the frame rail by the body mount. Thanks again guys and gals.
